Growing up, my mom took what felt like 7,649,847 photos—constantly capturing everything. At the time, I couldn’t stand it. Now, I get it.As time passed, we all started using our phones as our primary cameras. Thousands of photos sat in digital limbo—snapshots of real life, rarely printed, rarely seen again.
That’s when I fell in love with instant film. A nostalgic pleasure that always increased my dopamine. There’s something magical about it. The click, the whir, the wait.
And suddenly, you’re holding a memory in your hand. No uploading. No scrolling. Just a real, tangible piece of time.
I started taking Polaroids of my kids, of family dinners, of everyday moments that didn’t seem like much—until they were frozen forever on film. The smiles those instant prints brought to people’s faces made me realize: this matters. Super 8 Film became a high interest after getting tired of using the Instagram filter and not the real deal…months of research led to my first purchase, a 1969 Chinon from Facebook marketplace.
And that’s how First Draft Film was born.

Digital instant editions and a custom client gallery app will be sent to your email within 48 hours.
Physical instant prints will be hand-delivered or mailed within 72 hours of the shoot.

We’ll send you digital scans of your Polaroids and a custom client gallery app within 48 hours of the shoot. Your physical prints will be hand-delivered or mailed within 72 hours after the session.
For Super 8 Film, our turnaround time is 4 weeks. We offer a rush option to get the footage back to you within 7 days for an additional $450 fee. For Instant Photography, there is no rush needed—the photos are ready 48 hours after the shoot!
